Notice of Public Hearing June 29, 2023 Local Control Accountability Plan and Southern Humboldt JUSD Budget for 2023-24 Copies of the LCAP and Budget may be inspected at the District Office (during normal business hours) or on the district website 72 hours prior to the hearing. All interested parties are encouraged to attend this meeting. The final LCAP and Budget adoption will then take place at a Special Meeting scheduled on June 30, 2023.
LCAP Parent Advisory Committee Meeting to be Held 6/6/2023 Short Summary: The LCAP is a tool for local educational agencies to set goals, plan actions, and leverage resources to meet those goals to improve student outcomes. The Parent Advisory Committee serves as a way for District parents to review, comment and provide parent perspective on the LCAP. There will be a Parent Advisory Committee Meeting on Tuesday June 6th from 4:00-5:00p.m. on the SFHS campus in the Wellness Center. This is a hybrid meeting. Calendar Update for End of School Year As you know, the storms, power outages, and unsafe road conditions caused schools to close unexpectedly for many days this winter. As a result of these missed days, the school district is required to use our “emergency closure days” which are on your 2022-23 school calendar as June 11, 12, and 13. This last week of school will be short days, with release times the same asshort Wednesdays.
